Got a new Apple Watch today as a gift.

What happened to my previous one? It got lost. The one before? It was a series one, so it basically lost the ability to connect to my iPhone. Planned obsolescence, yo!

Makes me wonder what the reasons are for most people to get a new Apple Watch. Must be these two only - lost the watch or lost the watch to Apple.

These watches probably do break. But not a lot. They’re quite sturdy and barring a direct assault on the glass, I don’t know of a way to break them.

Apple certainly made an indestructible product and then worked backwards to figure out how to remove them from the market.

How many Apple Watches are sitting in drawers, unused computing potential wasting away?
